genderless
i've never been a big fan of aliens and that whole world of fiction involving them, but there is one thing i'm absolutely sure of: in my mind, they don't have gender. they don't have the sexual organs or even the same anatomy that we, human beings, have. that's why everytime i see a show or a movie showing a certain figure and image of aliens, that, quite often is sexualized in the """female""" aliens resembling the body of a female human being, i completely shut down. i mean, maybe it's just the version that i have always believed the one that only "satisfies" me, but i hate when creators do that. why are you trying to make an extraterrestrial creature fuckable? you're weird, man.

I vividly remember I May Destroy You once a month or so. And it saddens me so much that almost no one from my circle, or even from Spain in general don't know about this show. When it is SO good and extremely important and so well made. I mean, we clearly know why this show isn't that famous in Spain. Even if I hate comparing show or movies, when it came out people compared it with Fleabag (they have nothing in common, though), and I do feel like more people watched it, spreading it through filmtwt. This happens with A LOT of POC shows and movies, that might be pretty well-known in certain places (or not), but never in Spain. Movies like Rye Lane (they never add it to those "best rom-coms from the last couple of years" lists), Layla, My Father's Shadow, Nickel Boys, Polite Society, His House, Sing Sing, Amreeka, If Beale Street Could Talk, The Last Black Man in San Francisco*, All We Imagine As Light,...or shows like* Dead Hot*, Bait, The Get Down, Ramy, Juice, We Are Lady Parts, On My Block,... Just the first ones that sping to mind.
Living in a mainly white audiovisual cultural place sucks. I'm obviously a part of it, even though I always try to widen my knowledge of POC content. (I wanted to write more about this but I feel I don't have to knowledge, vocabulary and information to talk about it...yet.

i really love going to big cities, visiting them and staying there for a few days. they make me feel like a completely different person, like the real me. this mostly happens when i go alone to those places. i feel like i'm able to be 100% myself. cool and nice interactions happen to me when i'm visiting alone a big city. someone will always come at me and compliment my make-up or my outfit, out of nowhere! and i really love that. i feel that in my small city that never happens and it is not likely for that to happen.

sometimes i remember why i don't like being in large groups of friends: everyone only pays attention to the same four people as always, and nobody cares about the rest of us. either they ignore you, they don't pay attention to what you say do listen to what others say even though we've said the same thing, they forget about you, they never take your recommendations into account...

about david lowery
i watched mother mary yesterday and, i general, i'm still not sure if i like david lowery's films... like he always does the PRETTIEST films: beautiful gowns, beautiful colours, beautiful to look at in general. now the content... it's not that i don't like them but do i even like them? not sure but i'll always give him a chance (i still need to watch a ghost story tho)

i wish i could easily delete all my social media accounts but i simply can't like i'm too "addicted" to them although i trully believe that without them my mental health would absolutely be much better
